Song details

The song page is the hub for one song: identity and artwork up top, then cards for Files (audio), Chord charts, and a Details tab with everything else.

Identity and musical metadata​

  • Title and artist.
  • Album artwork — upload, replace, or remove. Songs without artwork get an auto-generated cover.
  • A compact strip shows Key · BPM · Time signature.

The Details tab​

Free-form fields for everything your band needs to remember:

  • About — background, arrangement notes, anything.
  • Lyrics — the full lyric text (AI can transcribe these from a recording — see Audio analysis).
  • Notes — rehearsal reminders, gear notes, cues.
  • Tags — comma-separated labels rendered as badges, handy for filtering the library by set, genre, or status.

Filling metadata automatically​

Two shortcuts save typing:

  • Copy key & BPM from a recording — once a file's key and tempo are detected, use Copy key & BPM to song on the file to promote them to the song. A review dialog shows each field so you approve changes one by one.
  • Import song info from a chart — the wand action on a chart reads details like artist, key, tempo, and time signature from the chart and offers them through the same review dialog.
