Your Library and contexts

The Library is home: the searchable list of all songs in your current context. Every song row links to its detail page, and the New Song button lives here too.

Personal vs. band contexts​

Everything in Stagemates — songs, files, charts, setlists — lives in a context:

  • Personal — only you can see it.
  • A band — shared with every member of that band. Any member can add and edit songs, charts, and setlists.

Switch contexts with the switcher at the top of the sidebar. Switching changes which songs and setlists are in scope and returns you to the Library. Your role in each band (Leader or Member) shows as a badge.

Finding songs​

Type in the search box above the song list to filter as you type. The list is paginated and sizes itself to your screen; you can also set the page size manually.

Live sync​

Stagemates syncs continuously. Edits made by bandmates — a renamed chart, a reordered setlist, a new upload — appear on your screen in real time without refreshing.

Appearance​

Toggle light, dark, or system theme from the sidebar. The app version you're running is shown at the bottom of the sidebar under Settings.
