Joining a band

Band membership starts with an invite link sent to your email by a band leader.

Accepting an invite​

  1. Open the invite link from your email. The page shows who invited you, which band, and what role you'll have (Leader or Member).
  2. If you're not signed in: a sign-in code is sent to the invited email address. Enter it and you're signed in and added to the band in one step.
  3. If you're already signed in with the invited email: accept with one click.

After accepting, the band appears in the context switcher in the sidebar — switch to it to see the band's shared songs and setlists.

Common situations​

  • Signed in with a different email? The invite is locked to the address it was sent to. Use Sign out and continue on the invite page, then sign in with the invited email.
  • Link expired or revoked? Ask the band leader to resend the invite — resending generates a fresh link.
  • Already a member? Opening the link again is harmless; you'll simply land in the band.
  • "Band limit reached"? Your plan limits how many bands you can be in (1 on Free, 3 on Pro, unlimited on Band). Leave a band or upgrade, then open the link again. See Plans and limits.
