Performing a chart

Opening a chart takes you to the stage view: a full-screen, distraction-free page built for music stands, phones, and tablets. Document (PDF/image) charts display as-is; editable charts get the full toolkit below.

Transpose​

Use the −/+ transpose controls to shift the chart up or down (up to ±11 semitones). The header shows the resulting key live — e.g. A (from G). Transposition never changes the saved chart; it's applied on the fly.

Chord spellings follow the destination key, so transposing into a flat key gives you Bb, not A#. Unrecognized tokens like N.C. pass through untouched.

Your transpose choice is remembered per chart, per device — the same song shows up in the same key whether you open it from the song page or inside a setlist.

Reading controls​

  • Text size — stepper from small to large; remembered on this device.
  • Lyrics only — hides all chords, leaving clean lyrics for singers.
  • Fullscreen — toggle with the fullscreen button; Esc exits.
  • Show/hide player — bring the audio player into the performance, or hide it.

Auto-scroll​

Turn on auto-scroll and the chart scrolls at a steady, adjustable speed:

  • Speed slider — set the pace; remembered on this device.
  • Count-in — an optional 0–15 second delay before scrolling starts, shown as a "Scrolling in 3…" countdown ring, so you can start playing first.
  • Tap to pause — tapping the chart while it's scrolling pauses the scroll.

Performing a whole show​

For multi-song performances, put your songs in a setlist and use Play mode — it chains stage views for every song in order.
