Inviting members

Band leaders bring people in by email invite. Because Stagemates is currently invite-only, a band invite is also how new users get access to the app itself.

Send an invite

1. Open Settings and find the band's Members panel.
2. Choose Invite member, enter their email, and pick their role (Member or Leader).
3. Stagemates emails them a join link. You also get a copyable direct link — handy for pasting into your band's group chat. (Save it if you need it; for security the link is only shown when the invite is created or resent.)

The invite is locked to the email it was sent to, and only one pending invite can exist per email per band.

Managing pending invites

Pending invites are listed with their expiry date. You can:

• Resend — generates a fresh link and expiry (use this if an invite expired or the email didn't arrive; delivery failures are flagged in the list).
• Revoke — invalidates the link immediately.

There's a sensible rate limit on sending invites (30 per leader per day), so a typo-and-retry is never a problem but bulk misuse is.

What the invitee sees

The link shows who invited them, the band, and the role. If they're new to Stagemates, entering the emailed sign-in code creates their session and joins the band in one step. Details in Joining a band.
